This open call invites applications from dancers working in Indian classical and contemporary dance forms, aged above 15 years. Artists may apply individually or as part of a dance company. Submissions are welcome from across India.

Our emphasis is on presenting work that is distinctive, reflective, and thought-provoking; therefore, preference will be given to thematic performances. Nevertheless, for classical dance, traditional items are equally valued and appreciated for their technical excellence and cultural significance.

Both completed works and works currently in progress will be considered. However, please note that proposals still in the conceptual or ideation stage will not be eligible. A video recording of the proposed piece whether completed or in progress must be submitted as part of the application.

Once selected, applicants will be allowed to perform for a duration of 10 to 15 minutes.

Please Note: The festival does not cover costs related to the creation or production of the work. Additionally, travel, accommodation, and food expenses will not be covered for artists traveling from outside Bengaluru. We advise applicants to consider these aspects when applying.
