2nd edition of Chota Canvas Dance festival 2025 is happening on

10th May 2025 at Seva Sadana, Bengaluru.

This call is open to Indian classical & contemporary dancers of age 8 to 15 years. Works presented at CANVAS must be 10-15 minutes. Completed/Works in progress are accepted and considered, but works still in conceptual form will not be considered.

Note: We do not provide funds for creation & performance at the festival. For artists traveling from outside Bengaluru, please note that travel, food, and accommodation expenses are not covered.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1.    Applicant Information: Name of individual or dance company, age and contact information.

2.   Letter of Interest: Please describe why you would like to be considered for CANVAS.

3.   Work Proposed for CANVAS: Title, choreographer's name, length of the work, number of performers, and brief explanation/description of the work. Your work can be solo, duet, trio or group. You can apply as an individual or represent a dance company.

4.    You need to submit a video of the work that you intend to perform at the festival. Upload it to drive & share the link with view access.
